Critique Piqua used to open on a sign-in box, which meant the first thing anyone saw was a form asking them to be a member. Now the board opens straight away, for everyone, with no account and nothing to dismiss if you arrived from a search or a shared link. Members sign in from the panel that appears on a first visit, or from the Sign in link in the menu at any time.

Site updates moved to their own page, linked at the foot of every page, so they no longer sit between you and the posts.

Critique Piqua can now be found through Google and other search engines. Nothing about who can read it has changed — it has always been open to anyone with the link. It is simply listed now rather than hidden.

Approved members can reply to a post. Whoever wrote the post decides whether it accepts comments, and can close it later — closing stops new replies but does not delete the ones already there.

Press play on a thumbnail to watch or listen without opening the post. Nothing starts on its own, and clicking anywhere else on the tile still opens the full post.

Thirty-eight typefaces, from Times New Roman to Courier, applied to the post and to how it appears on the board.

A member's name is now a link everywhere it appears. Their page collects everything they have posted, at a larger size than the main board.

On a small screen the post box folds away into a single button in the corner, and opens when you tap it.

The page for asking us to fix or take down something is now in force, joining the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Posting Policy. All four are live documents.

Moderators can take a post down without leaving the page. A member who is banned keeps their name on what they already wrote — a ban stops someone posting again, it does not erase the record.

Links to a streamed council meeting now work, and a link saved at a particular timestamp opens there instead of at the start of a four-hour recording.

New name, new address at critiquepiqua.com, and a new mark. The members' feed keeps the name Piqua Wall of Shame.

Posts appear as a wall of thumbnails rather than a list of messages, newest first. Each thumbnail opens that post on its own page.

PDFs open page by page in the browser, with no download needed. Whoever posts one picks which page appears as its cover on the board.

Both documents took effect, and the Privacy Policy describes what this site actually does — including what is kept after something is deleted.

Who sits on the commission, which ward they represent, whether they were elected or appointed, and the certified result of every election since 2018.

Members can attach a link to the record a post is about. Readers always see which site it points to, whatever the link is called.

Results highlight the words you searched for, so you can see why something came up without opening it.

Reporting no longer needs an account — the people most likely to spot a factual error are often the ones being written about.

Everyone approved to post is listed at /members, and the feed is available at /feed.xml.

Posts can be shared individually, and a shared link shows a preview card rather than a bare address.

Members can also now edit and delete their own posts; every earlier version is kept for moderators.
