You do not need an account to read this site. The feed is public and always will be — go read it. This page is only for people who want to post.

How this works

Posting is limited to a small number of approved people, and there is no instant sign-up. You ask here, a moderator reviews it, and if you're approved your email address is added to the allowlist. Only then can you sign in — accounts genuinely cannot be created before that, so there is nothing to try in the meantime.

Once approved, signing in is a link emailed to that address. There is no password to choose or lose.

Before you ask

Read the Posting Policyfirst. It is short, and it is the standard you'll be held to — accurate claims about the public conduct of public officials, opinion labelled as opinion, nothing about private individuals or anyone's home address. People who can't work that way lose access quickly, so it's worth knowing up front whether it suits you.
